They are wonderful at Koster Denture. The service is amazing and friendly and the work is outstanding. My dentures look like my natural teeth! They’re beautiful and comfortable. Nothing but good things to say.

Great place they re made my mom dentures for free. Because of a mishap with a nother dentist that happened to be a relative of his. Even tho it was another business they honored the work and helped her out since it would have been a couple years for her to be approved for a new set. Says a lot about them to help someone out like that for no profit. Highly recommend

What types of dentures are available?

There are two main types of dentures:
•󠁏󠁏 Complete dentures: A complete denture is a removable appliance that replaces all of the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw or both.
•󠁏󠁏 Partial dentures: Partial dentures are removable, custom-made prosthetic devices used to replace one or more teeth. They may be made of acrylic or metal or a combination of both.

Should I get implants or dentures?

You need to review the following factors before deciding which is the best option for you:
•󠁏󠁏 Age: Any age can be suitable for dental implants, but the candidacy depends on various factors.
•󠁏󠁏 Bone density: Implants need a specific jawbone material to support the teeth posts. You’ll be referred to the correct specialist to determine your candidacy.
•󠁏󠁏 Feel and function: Implants restore your bite force allowing you to eat whatever foods you like without worry of your denture slipping.

What should I expect when wearing dentures for the first time?

Here are the things you can expect while wearing dentures the first time:
•󠁏󠁏 They might feel odd or “full” initially, but as soon as your tongue and cheek muscles are accustomed, they’ll feel more natural.

•󠁏󠁏 You might feel minor soreness or irritation, which is normal with a new set of dentures. Simply schedule an adjustment with your Denturist during the “settling-in process.

•󠁏󠁏 At first, eating may feel like a challenge but with a little extra patience and tips from your Denturist, you’ll be on the right track!

When is it safe to eat solid or harder foods after getting dentures?

When dentures are first inserted, we recommend to start small. Start with softer foods, and chew with both sides of your mouth. Over the first few weeks, you can introduce foods at whatever pace feels comfortable to you.

Should wearing temporary dentures feel painful?

It is important to follow the aftercare instructions set out by your Denturists and Dentist who extracted your teeth. During the healing process, there will be some discomfort that will get better with time. Reach out if there are any questions.

Is it ok to adjust your own dentures?

Avoid making adjustments to your dentures on your own. Adjusting your dentures at home can cause further damage to your denture. If you’re dealing with any issues with your dentures, have them adjusted by your Denturist.
